Default word 2003 mail merge toolbar display record number

record number only displays maximum of 2 digits - reguardless of the number
of records in data base - Also you may type in a 3 or more digit number and
the proper record will be displayed from the data base, just not on the tool
bar. It will still only show 2 digits - example record 411 appears as 41.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks

This bug has been reported. I don't believe there's currently any fix for
it. Reportedly, you can increase the size of the box (using Tools |
Customize), but the record number is still truncated.
