Word Crashing
I'm not sure anyone can help, but has anyone had an experience with Word
crashing when printing to a printer? I have an HP LaserJet and contacted HP and they insist that it is a problem within word. I try to print to the printer, Word acts like it going to start printing, and then it just crashes and disappears. When I load it again, all of my files are still there in AutoRecover, but I can't print anything....any thoughts??? |

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...artingWord.htm, especially
the section on printer issues. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "DrMarsha" wrote in message ... Word Crashing
Thanks, but that really address when Words opens..I have successfully printed
to this printer for about 2 years...this problem just started happening a few months ago. I can get Word to open and function appropriately, but printing is an issue...and, it isn't all documents. Some I can print just fine without crashing, others cause the crash. I have to label my documents now as to which will print and which won't... Word Crashing
Don't be misled by the filenames of web pages. It is the *content* of the
pages that matters. The linked page covers all the usual forms of crashing. True - I updated the first page and wrote the second! But the OP seems
reluctant to actually read the links provided. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Stefan Blom wrote: "Graham Mayor" wrote in message ...
