How do I stop page numbers reverting to 1 after a section break?
I am working on a 130 page document with multiple section breaks. I would
like sequential page numbering throughout the document rather than having page numbering revert to 1 after a section break. This is on Word 2003. I also don't want the page numbers displayed on the first four pages (title page & contents pages). Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Whenever your cursor is in a Header or Footer, the H & F toolbar
appears. I think it's the third icon from the left that's "Format Page Number." That lets you set the starting number (you want "Continue from Previous") and the format of the number (you want the roman in the first section, the arabic after).
