Default How to setup to use double click of mouse to check/uncheck boxes?

In a previous version of Word, double clicking reversed the status of a check
box (i.e. if the check box was checked, double clicking would uncheck the box
and visa versa). How can I set up this option in Word 2003?

A check box form field requires only a single click. If you were
double-clicking, it was probably a MacroButton check box; see
http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm and/or
