How do you lock (or protect) a cell in Word
You will have more flexibility (i.e. being able to lock a single cell,
rather that just a Section of a document), if you insert and Excel spreadsheet into the document. Other than when you are actually working in the "table" (e.g. when the document is printed) it can be made to appear no different from a Word table. -- Hope this helps.
