Default One Page Table

Is there any way to limit a document to one page only? I would like to
do a newsletter, type the text into a table and know that when I
reached the end of the page, move up to the top of the next column.

Right now, as you know, the column leaps onto the next page.

Any help is appreciated!

You need to use newspaper-style columns instead of a table. See
