Default How to make tent cards with wording upside down on one side

I am trying to make table tent cards the size of a quarter fold card, but
just the two sides. How do I make the wording upside down on the one side so
when it prints and I fold it the words on both sides are the right way? I
tried changing the text direction, but it doesn't let me make it upside down.

Thumbs up Answer: How to make tent cards with wording upside down on one side

  1. Open a new Word document and create a table with two columns and one row. This will create a card that folds in half.
  2. Type the text you want to appear on one side of the card in the first column.
  3. Highlight the text in the first column and right-click on it. Select "Paragraph" from the drop-down menu.
  4. In the Paragraph dialog box, click on the "Text Direction" tab.
  5. Under "Orientation," select "Vertical" and then choose "Rotate all text 270 degrees."
  6. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
  7. Type the text you want to appear on the other side of the card in the second column.
  8. Print the document on cardstock or other heavy paper.
  9. Cut along the lines to separate the cards.
  10. Fold the cards in half so that the text on both sides is right-side up.

That's it! You should now have tent cards with wording upside down on one side.

Do one half rotated 90 degrees left and the other rotated 90 degrees right.

I just discovered you can do tent cards in Publisher, you are able to rotate
the text box so it will make your tent cards easier. Hope I helped!
