While writing a Word document, the program stopped allowing me to add words
into a sentence. Instead, when I try to add something, the words to the
right of the cursor begin to disappear each time I press the space key. I
probably pressed something accidentally while typing, but can't figure out
what I did. Please help!!!

Did you try the "Insert" key on your keyboard (should be located above your
"Delete" key and to the left of your "Home" key)

Hi Lauren-

You have accidentally activated Overtype Mode. Just double-click the letters
OVR on the Status Bar to turn it off. Avoid pressing the Insert key, which is
usually the culprit.
