Is there a way to make a word file non- editable?
I have a web page(.html) with links to 5 word files in it.
These word files will open in new browser windows. I want these word files to be non- editable. ie. The user should not be able to select anything in the file. Is this possible? Is there a way to make my word document content non selectable? Any suggestions on how to go about this will be appreciated. Thanks |

Hi Jezebel,
I have a html page which has a few word templates(.dot) files linked from it. When a user clicks on any of these links, the template opens in IE. When the user clicks on save as it allows him to save as a dot file and not as a doc. How do I make the default save as .doc? I also want to know if whenever a user clicks on a link to a document on my site, can I open the doc directly in Word Application and not in the browser. Can this be done? Thanks "Jezebel" wrote: no, it's not possible. "Deeptha" wrote in message ... I have a web page(.html) with links to 5 word files in it. These word files will open in new browser windows.
