Why ascii characters in header
Suddenly ascii characters show up in document headers and hyperlinks have
{hyperlink} firld codes. How do I undo that? |

Why ascii characters in header
Alt+F9 to toggle the display of field codes.

{hyperlink} firld codes Try pressing Alt-F9 to toggle the field codes - if necessary, ensure that you have selected the relevant part of the document (e.g. the header, or the document body), then use Alt-F9 Suddenly ascii characters show up in document headers If the above does not fix it, can you describe exactly what you are seeing?
