Keyboard shortcuts for symbols don't work
While typing a bilingual document, the keyboard shortcuts to include accents,
umlauts, or other non-English characters work as I begin the document, but after a few sentences they stop working. I have Office 2007. What can I do to restore the shortcuts and avoid this problem in the future? Thank you. |

Keyboard shortcuts for symbols don't work
To enter non-English characters using codes such as ALT+0250, the Num Lock
key needs to be switched on. Num Lock is in the upper right hand corner of the number pad, and a light should light up on the keyboard when Num Lock is on. Check to make sure Num Lock is on. If Num Lock is toggled on and for some reason ALT+ codes are still not working, you can design your own custom keyboard shortcuts.
