Using Word 2002
Hello, I just purchased a new computer with Windows Vista. It came with
Microsoft Works version 9.0. I have Works 7.0 which I purchased in 2003. I wanted Microsoft Word, but could only get it in Works 7.0. It contained other software plus Internet Explorer 6.0. I cannot purchase Word 2007 now and need to reinstall it. To reinstall will it override version 9.0 and overwrite Internet Explorer 7 to 6. I Don't want to do that. What can I do? It doesn't give me the option to not install Internet Explorer 6. Thanks, -- Janice |

You should run Works Setup, advanced option and chose ONLY Word. Nothing
else will be installed. Please note that there is a specific newsgroup for Works. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "Janice" wrote in message ...
