Use a cross-reference (which is a kind of field, but has its own dialog for setting it up). - If the first field is a form field in a protected form, it has a built-in bookmark whose name you can see (and change) in the form field's Properties dialog. - If it's any other kind of field, insert a bookmark that surrounds the field. Then insert the cross-reference to refer to the bookmark name -- that's one of the choices in the Insert Cross-Reference dialog. See http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm for more ways. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
