Number format from excel data source
How do you get the number format from an Excel data source to translate into
a Word mail merge document in XP? It's taking the raw data (i.e., 9 decimal places for a # from a formula instead the formatted 2) |

Hi Lori,
Add a numeric picture switch to the mergefield. To do this, select the filed and press Ctrl-F9 to reveal the code. It should look something like: {MERGEFIELD ExcelData} Edit it by adding a numeric picture switch thus: {MERGEFIELD ExcelData \# ,0.00;-0.00} You can also add currency symbols etc. For more information on this, download the Word document at: http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/show...?Number=365442 (url all one line) Cheers "Lori IKEA" Lori wrote in message ...
