The right click button doesn't work in WORD only.
I can't get the right click button to work in WORD. It works for cut and
paste in other MS programs, but not in WORD. I've investigated the help menus, but haven't found the magical check box to enable this function (if it exists). Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Do you get anything when you right-click?

Does it work in Word's safe mode -hold the CTRL key whilst starting Word? If

Yes it works when I start Word in safe mode. I have to head to work, but will

Graham, This set of pages seems to address only problems with opening word,
which isn't my problem. I am probably missing something, so please direct me to the right post if I am. My only problem is that I can't right click on a problem word for spell check or for selected words to copy, cut and paste them. The right click button doesn't work in WORD only.
If Word works correctly in Safe Mode, then this indicates a problem with
Normal.dot, the Registry, or add-ins (all of which are suppressed in Safe Mode); the article explains how to deal with each of these factors. -- Suzanne S.
