Default Creating a form with fill-ins can you use checkboxes?

I have created a form with fill-in prompts. Can I format it to also include
the check boxes?

Hi Linda829

Yes. See the following article and the links from it to Dian Chapman's
articles about creating forms
How to create a template that makes it easy for users to "fill in the
blanks", without doing any programming
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...nTheBlanks.htm

Hope this helps.

There are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in
documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do
not. Take a look at the Checkbox template available at
http://www.addbalance.com/word/downl...#CheckboxAddIn for an exploration
of these. If you choose to use a protected form you won't be able to use the
Fill-In fields but rather the text fields from the forms toolbar. This is
what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. For more about online
forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

You may also want to look into macrobutton fields as an alternative. See
http://www.addbalance.com/usersguide...tm#MacroButton and
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/TblsFl...acroButton.htm for more
about macrobutton fields.

Hope this helps,
