Default Speech Recognition

I have Vista and Office 2003.

I would like to talk to Word or a text box in Access and have my dictation
converted to text.

Has anyone used it? Does it work well? Is it faster than typing? Is it
accurate after it has been trained? Can it be used in both Access forms and
Word? Which microphone is best?

Advice on ease of use and best methods of implementation would be greatly
appreciated.

TIA

Guy
