Is there some way to center section 2, then center section 1 and 3?
Picture a top block of text lines, Section 1
Long body of text lines, Section 2 Trailing text lines of information, Section 3 How do I center Section 2 on the page vertically, then center Section 1 in remaining top space and Section 3 in remaining bottom space? Is there a way to do this easily? |

You could make three (unbordered) table rows, with exact row height, and
vertically center the content of each. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "Robert Macy" wrote in message ... Would this center Section 2 on the whole page, followed by centering Section 1 in what's left at the top and centering Section 3 in what's left at the bottom? |

You would have to figure this out mathematically and set the corresponding
row heights accordingly. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "Robert Macy" wrote in message ... On Oct 26, 2:31 pm, "Suzanne S. Divide the page height (top margin to bottom margin) into three and create a
three row table with each row set to exactly the result. Set each table cell to centre the contents. If the middle row needs to be bigger to accommodate the contents, then reduce the top and bottom row by half the amount you need to expand the centre row. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "Robert Macy" wrote in message ... But, so far letting the computer vertically center the text has not been very acceptable. Way off. So may have to stick with manual centering. Robert |

In which case try the following...
Enter the first, second and third text sections of text. Move the cursor into the final paragraph of the first section of text and use Format Paragraph to adjust the Space After until the second section is perfectly centred to your satisfaction. Move the cursor into the final paragraph of the (now centred) second section and adjust the Space after to move the section three text to the bottom of the page. Does that work for you?
