I want to replace black text with a different text of another colo
Is there a way to find a specific text string in a black text document and
replace it with something different in another color? For instance, find "teh" in a document and replace it with "the" in red? |

You can certainly find 'teh' and replace with 'the' in red, but finding it
in black maybe a problem as the default is more likely to be 'auto' than black. In the replace dialog, click more and set formatting against the replace string. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Oftheson wrote: Is there a way to find a specific text string in a black text document and replace it with something different in another color? The color of the original word isn't necessarily an issue. I just want to
replace in another color. That helped GREATLY, however. Thankyou so much! tam "Graham Mayor" wrote: You can certainly find 'teh' and replace with 'the' in red, but finding it in black maybe a problem as the default is more likely to be 'auto' than black.
