"No program is registered to open this file" What up with that?
When clicking on a hyperlink I created in Word 2003 to a *.pdf document, I
get the following error message: "No program is registered to open this file." I found something about it being a memory issue, but I am running I Gig of memory (minus 64 Mb for my video on an AMD Athalon XP_M processor, I cannot believe it is hardware. I have checked my Window file associations. Any help would be appreciated. |

It's nothing to do with your computer's memory. Start up Windows Explorer.
Go to Tools Folder Options. Have a look at the File Types tab: the list shows registered file types and the associated program for each. If PDF is missing from the list, you need to reinstall Acrobat. If it's not missing you have a registry problem. "ThePolymathicMonk" wrote in message ...
