Default "can I tell what avery label was used in existing Word file"

I have an existing Word document - a page of return address labels. I don't
remember which Avery label I used. Is that information imbedded in the
document so that I can find that information? If so, How do I find the
imbedded information?

Thanks!

Unless the Word document was created using an Avery template, you may be out
of luck. To check the template used, go to Tools | Templates and Addins.
The template name will be listed at the top. If it says Normal, then you are
stuck.

You may be able to figure it out though, if you print the labels to a
document and then use a ruler to get the measurements.

There's no such information in the file, but you can add it. Display table
gridlines (Table | Show Gridlines) so you can see the individual labels
boundaries. Note the size of each cell and the number of rows and columns on
the page. If these are very common labels (20 or 30 to a page), you'll
probably be able to match the sheet to boxes of labels you have on hand. If
not, go to Tools | Envelopes and Labels. On the Labels tab, click Options...
and, in the Label Options dialog, scroll through the list of Avery labels
till you find one that matches the number and size of labels you have. When
you have ascertained the correct stock number, go to File | Properties and
add this information in the Category, Keywords, or Comments field.
