Default "crossing" out a word in "word"

I want to cross out a word in a word document. I do not want to delete the
word - simply place a line through the word so the reader can see that
particular word is no longer needed. I do not want to use tracking changes
but just to cross the word out. I would appreciate any help

Thanks
