Default "enter" key

My line spacing is set to "1", and when I let the text autowrap, I get single
spacing, but if I press the "enter" key I get double spacing. Can someone
tell me what's going on? Thanks.

Default "enter" key

In the Format | Paragraph dialog, make sure that Spacing Before/After is set
to 0.
