Right Click & Paste Options
The paste options button does not always appear when using the right-click
button on the mouse to paste in a different location. The paste options only appears when using the paste button on the toolbar. The "Show paste options buttons" box is checked in Tools/Options/Edit tab is checked. Is there a way to get the paste options button to appear when right clicking? -- FrankO |

Right Click & Paste Options
From the Tools menu, select Customize and in the Customize dialog, select
the Toolbars tab and check the Short Cut Menus box. From the Toolbar that appears, use the Text pulldown and the expand the Text shortcut menu. Now, move the the Commands tab of the Customize dialog and select the All Commands category and locate the EditPasteOption item and left click, hold and drag it onto the expanded Text shortcut menu. Note that there are many shortcut menus (nearly all of them) that contain a Paste button, so you may need to repeat this procedure for a number of them. -- Hope this helps. Right Click & Paste Options
Thanks Doug for your help, I did a you suggested and it helped out somewhat.
The problems is that the Right Click Paste is no consistent; it works sometimes but not all the time. For example, pulling [copying] parts of a document and pasting in a table is very inconsistent, you never know when it will work or not. My question now, is there something with tables that make this a problem? -- FrankO "Doug Robbins - Word MVP" wrote in message ...
