Default Re-installing

Hi,

I've only recently installed Word 2007 to my new laptop and every time I
close word (correctly) I'm informed it hasn't closed properly and that Word
cannot find a file either on my harddrive or internet. I want to try
uninstalling and re-installing to see if this will solve the problem but will
this mean I lose all my building blocks that I have set up.

Thanks for any help.

Default Re-installing

Re-installing will not do anything useful. What is the file it reports that
it cannot find?

Hmmm. I am almost sorry I asked

Start Word in its safe mode (hold the CTRL key whilst starting and
positively acknowledge the ensuing prompt) . Does the problem still occur?

If not, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...artingWord.htm.
