Default Keep cursor at end of word document upon saving.

Is there a way to keep the cursor at the end of a Word document when saving
and exiting from it so that when you reopen the document, the cursor is
already at the bottom of it?

Not really. When you reopen the document, press Shift+F5 to return to
the point of the last edit.

For some versions of Word you may need a fix for a problem with this:

You can also use Ctrl+End to go to the end of a document.
