Default remove mailmerge

Is there a way to take a mailmerge out of a document once you have it in.
sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm new to office. Thanks in advance
for any help

Open the document, use Tools|Customize to enable the Mail Merge Toolbar,
click the first icon, and selec the "Normal Word Document" option, save the
document.

What version of Word are you using. When selecting the Main Document type,
you can select Normal Word Document which may be what you are after.
