Default How do I turn off auto indent?

I'm using Word 97 (I know, I know). Documents that have no automatic
paragraph indentation when I create them seem to pick up on my tabbing after
I've written a few paragraphs and start doing it for me every time I press
enter. Anybody know how I can make it stop doing that? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Suzanne. I've discovered that it seems to be specifically the "Other
paragraphs" option under AutoFormat that was causing my particular problem.
That could use a better name! But I really appreciate all the info in your
article. I hope a lot of people read it, because it could save a lot of
frustration around the world!
