I need to print the same page number on consecutive pages i.e. page 1 = 1;
page 2 = 1; page 3 = 2; page 4 = 2, etc..

any ideas

1. You'll first need to check the box for "Different odd and even" on the
Layout tab of Page Setup. This will give you separate odd and even headers.

2. In the Odd Page Header, insert this field: { = ({ PAGE } + 1)/2 }

3. In the Even Page Header, insert this field: { = { PAGE }/2 }
