Preserving Excel Page Layouts when Linking to word
Hi -
I built some tables in excel that are formatted exactly how I want them for printout (in excel). Essentially what I am trying to add these printed pages onto the end of a word document so I can take advantage of the table of contents and allow easy navigation and editing of the combined document. Linking them would be nice, but is not required. However, any type of coping and pasting destroys the page layout formatting I have created in Excel. The formatting includes headers, footers, and data that will sit nicely, alone on a page. In summary, I want to add these word printouts to the end of a document similar to combining them into a .pdf. But I need to do this in word. Is there anyway to do this? or am I out of luck? I am using office XP. Thank you so much for any help provided. MG |

Instead of cutting/pasting, use Insert Object.
Insert Object Create from File Browse... While your formatting should be preserved, I don't think your headers/footers will be come over. -Hans "MG" wrote: Hi - I built some tables in excel that are formatted exactly how I want them for printout (in excel).
