Basing a document on Normal.dotm
Hi Adri,
Word 2007 has a number of enhancements and changes to styles, but you can choose to still use the old 'Style Gallery' method by adding the gallery command to the Quick Access Toolbar from Office Button=Word Options=Customize (Alt, F, I, C), selecting all commands and adding 'Style Gallery'. That should 'switch out' the Style Gallery list on the Home Ribbon to those from that template. ============= "Adri" wrote in message ... My firm is working with Word 2007. Previously we used Word 2000 and in that we used to base a document we received from other sources on our own Normal.dot which we got by going to Themes, Style Gallery and selecting Normal. How can this be done in Word 2007. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you -- Adri -- Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP *Courtesy is not expensive and can pay big dividends* |
