Anyone know about TOC formatting?
I want to fit a table of contents into the column of a table
The TOC has: Heading........................................... .................................................. .................................................. .........................................Page no I would like to reduce the leading dots to fit the column but still incl page numbers: Heading........................................... .................................................. ...........Page no I find I can reduce the width after inserting the TOC by formattabs but each time i refresh the TOC it resizes the leader Any ideas???? Just thought - if i define a style with reduced tab widths and use this style in the TOC?? who knows? |
