Applying template after typing document
"GB" wrote in message
... "Stefan Blom" wrote in message ... You can certainly attach a different template to a document, via Tools | Templates and Add-Ins, but this won't change the layout of the document; it'll just add the paragraph and character styles (assuming that you check the "Automatically update document styles" option). Therefore, doing what you are already doing--importing into a letterhead document--is the easiest way to handle this. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP Thanks for confirming the bad news. (Well, on a scale of 0-10 for bad news, it's not that bad, maybe 0.1 or 0.2) You are welcome. And, yes, it is hardly bad news to find out that you can't do B, then A, when you know that you *can* do A, then B... :-) -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP |
