Somehow some text was lost on a word document when we were using track
changes. The text literally disappeared. We went back to the previous section and hit a return to where the text should have been and the missing text reappeared. Is there a function that we can use to make certain that we are not missing text within key documents? Is this a formatting problem and or a track changes problem? Thanks for your hlep |

You could automatically save versions each time you save the document so that
you can revert to an earlier one in the event of a catastrophic fat finger event. Click FILE and select VERSIONS and check off the Automatically save a version on close check box -- Kevin Backmann "mwill" wrote: Somehow some text was lost on a word document when we were using track changes. Track changes adds complexity to documents. Sometimes the screen doesn't
update immediately. Are you sure it was missing? Did you try printing it or a print preview? http://addbalance.com/usersguide/track_changes.htm -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
