Default How to make the cursor blink?

Hello

Please help. I can't see the place where the cursor is located, and
I have to type a letter, [and then have to delete it] to find its current
location. Is there a way to have make the cursor look like a blinking
vertical line?

Thank you!

Go to settings/control panel/mouse/pointer options and click on show location of pointer when I
press the CTRL key.
