Inserting Word file
Hi y'all,
Word 2003 latest SP. Windows 2000 SP4. I have about 11 mostly single sheet but some multi sheet Word files. I want to combine them to a single file. All files have their own header & footers. I open the file, and inert a new page and "unlink" header & footer and delete it from new page. Now I insert the second Word file but its header is not inserted. I try to insert it as "linked" to no avail. How can I insert all files one after the other as complete as possible including their own header & footer. Thanks Mike |

Inserting Word file
Hi, Mike. Try inserting a Section Break Next Page at the end of one
file, then inserting the next one. You may have to play with the headers (turning off Same as Previous, etc.). I've done this with simple insertions and file merges before - complex docs may need an expert's opinion. HTH Ed ma wrote: Hi y'all, Word 2003 latest SP. Windows 2000 SP4.
