Default worksheet text converter

when I mail merge and choose an excel spreadsheet as the source I used to get
a box that said It will run an sql command and then a box saying it needed to
use the excel worksheet text converter--I said yes and all was good. Now, I
do not get that second box but get a box called data link properties. No
matter what I do, my numbers are going back to the old incorrect way of
displaying 59.36 as 59.350000003. I have word 2003 sp2-can anyone help?

Just in case anyone else is having this problem. I found some old notes that
corrected the problem very easily. In word I went to toolsoptionsGeneral
tab and make sure the box labeled "confirm conversion at open" is checked.
then when you merge it asks what conversion you want to use and I selected
the excel one and it works fine again. Thanks for your help and allowing me
to share some good news!
