Why does office 2003 show markups with older docs?
Office 2003 shows all track changes when opening some older office docs. This
seems to happen to multiple users at my company. You can goto view and select markups to make them disappear but when relaunching the same doc the settings do not save. Is there something you can do to correct this? |

Make sure all changes have been accepted (or rejected). For more, see:
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/trac...ngesWorks.html. Also, you may want to turn off the "Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving" option on the Security tab of ToolsOptions. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Nuff" wrote in message ... Though there is a reason this option is on the Security tab.

Yes, of course, there is a risk that you send somebody a document
without realizing it has markup in it. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote in message ... Though there is a reason this option is on the Security tab. -- Suzanne S.
