Protecting a Form
Here is what I am trying to accomplish..
I have a form that is in 3 sections. Section 1 form fields (name, date, phone), Section 2 (middle of documnet) is a inserted Excel worksheet and Section 3 is a form field (approvals). My question how can I protect the form fields but let the user edit the Excel Worksheet? I can email the template if you need to see it. Word 2003 SP1 Thanks. Todd -- If you hesitate you lose |

Instead of using the padlock to protect the form, use Tools | Protect
Document. When you protect a document containing more than one section, you'll be presented with a dialog that will allow you to select which sections you want protected. -- Suzanne S. Does your document contain more than one section? Press Ctrl+End to go to
the end of the document. On the status bar, what number follows "Sec"? -- Suzanne S.
