Background colour
Hi,
How do you change the background colour for only one or two pages in a Word 2003 document, I can change the background colour for the whole document but haven't been able to just select pages. Any help would be appreciated. |

Background colour
Essentially the background tool is provided for html documents, which don't
support pages. You could put a full page text box, with its layout option set to behind text, and filled with the colour of your choice, in the headers for the required sections. Note that most printers will not print to the edge of the page, and for printing on coloured backgrounds it probably makes more sense to print on coloured paper. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org rob wrote: Hi, How do you change the background colour for only one or two pages in a Word 2003 document, I can change the background colour for the whole document but haven't been able to just select pages.
