Why can't I delete the 3 extra lines in the footnote pane in word
When I insert a footnote in Word 2007 it automatically adds 3 hard returns
between the footnote separator and the footnote text. I can't click on the separator or the hard returns to delete them. What must I do to delete the space, please? |

Switch to Draft view. On the References tab, click Show Notes. In the
footnote pane, choose the Footnote Separator item. You can now delete any excessive formatting (or contents such as blank paragraphs) from the separator. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "KP" wrote in message ...
