Default Protect table but not text in it - Word 2003

Hello,

Hope someone has a good suggestion for this problem. Using Windows XP and
Word 2003.

I have to create a table, one line, 5 columns. The columns' width and
height cannot be changed. I created a style for that table. The text in
each cell can be changed. The default is Arial, 10, bold. But if the user
needs to decrease the font size, he must be allowed. So, I protected the
table only (or the table style) but cannot unprotect the content. I want
users to be able to edit the font. How can I achieve this?

Your suggestions will be welcome.

Thank you.

Just set the row height to an exact value and uncheck the box for
Automatically size to fit contents and tell the users that when their text
starts disappearing from the bottom of the cell, it is time for them to
change the font size.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, Doug. I was so hoping that there would be another way to manage
this, but this will have to do.

Your response was appreciated.
