Trouble Seeing Graphics
I use MS Office 2003 with Windows XP. Some time ago I noticed when I pasted
a graphic, like a jpg file, into Word I had problems seeing the graphic. The problem continues today. While I can see it just after I pasted it, if I scrolled to another page and returned, I can see text but not the graphic. If I hold my cursor over the spot where the graphic was pasted and left click the mouse, I can see the corner markers but not the graphic. Only if I hit the esc key or paste a another graphic over the original graphic can I see the original graphic. Specifically, I'm pasting map, followed by a North arrow and other information boxes. When I print the document, the graphic shows up normally. Word did not always behave this way. This only started about four months ago. I have had my computer thoroughly tested for memory, graphics, etc., but there has been no indication of anything wrong. I have even used my original MS Office disk to "repair" Word, all to no avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Trouble Seeing Graphics
This may be attributable to the graphics driver with recent ATI display
adapters and the Intel® 82915G/82910GL Express Chipset Family causing particular problems. There are new drivers available from the manufacturers that fix the problem. Make sure you are using the latest driver, then if the problem persists, try reducing the display's hardware acceleration. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Mike Butler wrote: I use MS Office 2003 with Windows XP.
