Default Return Addresses drop down list

MS Word 2003. In the envelopes and labels wizard return addresses can be
inserted by clicking on the down arrow to select from a list of previously
used addresses. How can that drop down list be edited to remove old
addresses? Thanks

The short answer is that you can't. The only way to clear the address list is
to delete or rename the Word data key in the registry -
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\W ord\Data - but this has
implications for a whole raft of personal settings.

Thanks Graham, I would rather not change registry settings. Is there a file I
can delete or rename to force a new listing of return addresses? Thanks
again. - Keith

No. They are stored in the registry as indicated. Not in a file.
