Page number cross references all display as page "3"
I sometimes get this problem where upon opening a document all of my page
number cross references in the main part of the document (not the footer) display as page "3". The cross references refer to bookmarked items in the main part of the document. References to any other part of the bookmarked item (i.e. bookmark text, paragraph number, etc.) display correctly. I can fix the problem if I manually select the doc (ctrl-A) & press F9 but running a recorded macro that duplicates that action has no effect. Also, the change only stays in effect while the document is open. If I close/reopen the document, the page 3 problem returns. Any one know what's causing this & how I can prevent it? Thanks, JoAnn |
