Default Formula

I have create a table within my word document, the first two columns are
information that is coming over from an access database. what formula is it
that I use in the third column to do the following calculation. a1 minus b1.
(cell one in column a to minus cell one in column b) and the answer in column
c.

Hi Roger,

The formula is:
=A1-B1
in any cell other than A1 and B1.

To create the formula, press Ctrl-F9 to create a pair of field braces (i.e.
'{ }'), then type your formula between them. When you're done, press F9 to
update the result. you might also want to add a numeric picture switch to
control the formatting - Word's help file has the basic details.

The rate changes daily. Word is definitely not the best thing to use for
this purpose. Excel maybe a little better.
