stop text between two asterisks from turning bold
When I type text between two asterisks (ex. *something*) and press the
"space" key to proceed, the text, in this case the word "something" automatically changes to bold. I don't know what's wrong or how to change the settings so it doesn't happen. I am using Microsoft Word 2000. |

In Tools, Autocorrect, Autoformat as you Type, make sure that there is no check mark beside the option "*Bold* and _italic_ with real formatting" |
