microsoft 2003 word - Paragraph & punctuation information
Click the toolbar button that has the same ¶ symbol on it. :-) Turn it off,
turn it on, turn it off... Hey, stop! The keyboard shortcut Alt+* (that is, Alt+Shift+8 on most keyboards) does the same. Both of them change the "All" option in the Tools Options View dialog. If any of the other options in that group are checked, you'll generally want to turn them off. Also read http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Format...PrintChars.htm to find out why you may want to see those characters, some or all of the time. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. armymom wrote: When I open any of my saved word documents or even a new one from my desktop I have Paragraph & punctuation information like this: ¶ in all my documents.
