If you run a macro containing the following code on exit from the Dropdown
formfield ("ColA"), it will display the value that was chosen in a Text formfield ("ColB") ActiveDocument.FormFields("ColB").Result = ActiveDocument.FormFields("ColA").DropDown.ListEnt ries _(ActiveDocument.FormFields("ColA").DropDown.Value ).Name Having just put that together, it struck me that you can just use a cross reference field in column B to the text of the bookmark assigned to the drop down formfield and in the properties for that formfield, check the Calculate on Exit box so that the cross reference field will be updated. -- Please respond to the Newsgroup for the benefit of others who may be interested.
