change color of track change midway into an existing document?
How can the default track change color be changed from red to another color?
A document that exists with earlier track changes needs to have any current track changes begun from today to show up in a different color for the rest of the document. Is this possible? |

Go to Tools Options User Information and change the user name, even by one character. Set the Track Changes options to color the inserts and deletions By Author. All edits before the name change will show in one color, and all changes after the name change will show in another color. Unfortunately, you can't specify the colors. You can repeat this multiple times if needed. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
